We invite you to join us in honoring the Black luminaries and ancestors who shaped your philosophy and worldview. Whether it’s a family member, an artist, a revolutionary, or an everyday person whose wisdom has influenced how you think and act—this space is for you.
Through guided reflection, writing prompts, and performance coaching, participants will transform a quote from a Black philosopher, activist, or community leader into original spoken word poetry that celebrates legacy, resilience, and creative power.
